Single-phase asynchronous motors are designed to drive industrial equipment, e.g. fans, pumps, machine tools, presses, etc. They can be used for mild climates, in special designs and in other climatic conditions. In the standard design, the motors have a fan that cools independently of the direction of rotation of the motor, marked IC411.
